Experiments
is where I plan to put things that really don't fit into any
catigory. I hope you dig them.

Audio
site - Col. Jack
Jack
McClure was my grandfather, and he was the county agent for
the Univeristy of Kentucky in Davis Co. Kentucky from the
1920s until the late 1960s. his job was basically to teach
farmers in his jurisdiction about how to use modern agracultural
techniques. One way he spread the information was via a radio
program he did every week.
My
father found some old reel-to-reel tapes of his broadcasts,
as well as one of his retirnement dinner in a box of stuff,
so I digitized them, and posted them online. The quality is
not great, and the subject matter is not very exciting, but
for me it is a treat to hear his voice.

Audio
site - The
Lion of Whitehall
In
the same box of tapes was a recording of a LP made of a speech
told about Cassius Clay, (not the Muhommid Ali, but instead
the Abolutionist.) The speeker is a really good story teller,
and it is too bad that the tape was in such bad shape, but
it is a fun listen. (lots of fights, and crazy hijinks - the
best kind of history.)

Social
site - Xmas
For
christmas a cople of years ago I organized a group of frineds
to do a holiday sketch project. Baically each person was secretly
assigned another person to draw, and then on Dec 25th the
site went live were everyone could see the results.

Programming
- Star distance
calculator
This
was a tool created to help me with another project I was working
on, and it was a way of setting a maximum limit and then seeing
how many stars feel with that range. (say if you had a rocketship
that had a limited range, and needed to see what other systems
you could make it too.) Queenie
did the coding for me on this vanity project, and generally
is a kick ass programmer. (unlike me- I kind of suck)
Web
3D - Hyades Star
Cluster in 3D.
Another
stellar cartagrophy project, kind of gimped now, becasue the
Cult3D plug in I used for it is a separate install, and you
may not want to install that, just to see some dots rotate
when you drag them around.
