Well, on arriving in
Taipei, I was immediately struck by the heat, humidity, pollution, and huge
numbers of scooters being ridden by entire families. I was able to stay
as a guest of the family of Athena & Christine who are friends of mine
from the U of O. These 3 pictures are ones I took from the window of their
high rise over the course of my stay. (Obviously I am a small town boy if
I am taking pictures of buildings...)
