Letter Press as a tonic for the digital life
Outside of my work in the digital space, I try to keep active with my work in letterpress. It is a skill I learned from my father and developed further at the University of Oregon's Book Arts Program. It has taught me the physical origins of our rules for typography and layout, which in turn I apply to my design work.
The Albatross Press is my century-old cast iron hand press that is both a friend and foe.
